Preparing to turn in your final papers?
Follow these three easy steps and you can avoid losing valuable points on the Works Cited Page and wow your instructor with your bibliography-building prowess:
1) Find out the basic format for your citations.
- - Quick links to online style guides can be accessed here.
- - All major style guides (MLA, APA, CBE, Chicago) are available in Coe Library Reference on the first floor.
2) Ask for help if you are not sure how to cite a source or you feel too lazy to look it up.
- - Reference Librarians are happy to help you interpret the rules and find the best format for all your sources.
- - Not in the library? Ask us from home!
3) Using an EbscoHost database to find articles? Take a shortcut!
- - Email the citation to yourself and select your citation style from the menu on the right.
- - Cut and paste the citation from your email to the Works Cited page.
