All restrooms in Coe Library now work properly.  Yay!

From library Administration:

The sewer line replacement work affecting the restrooms at the east end of Coe Library was completed, and the plumbers verified that the restrooms at that end of the building were ok to be returned to service.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the library blog asked Coe-workers what they’re thankful for this year.

Jenn Smith: “I’m thankful for good friends.”
Jon Fessler: “I’m thankful for my family and for the family hosting me for Thanksgiving in Wyoming.”

David Kruger: “I’m thankful that Chili’s is coming to Laramie.”

Burmma Hardy: “I’m thankful for friends and family.”

Gena George: “I’m thankful for the internet! Specifically how it allows me keep in touch with friends and family who are far away.”

Need a restroom or a drink from the water fountain? Head west!

According to library administration:

The bathrooms in the 1978 part of Coe (the newer part at the east end) are out of service this morning.

The bathrooms in the 1957 part of Coe are functioning properly, and there will not be any interruption in the water service to the building.

Not a lot of people know this, but the 2nd floor women’s room on the west end of the library is possibly the finest restroom in the building.

The UW Libraries have reduced hours during the Thanksgiving holiday.

November 20 (Tuesday): Coe Library 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., all others 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

November 21 (Wednesday): Coe Library 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., all others 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

November 22 & 23 (Thursday & Friday): All UW Libraries closed

November 24 (Saturday): Coe Library/Library Annex noon – 4:00 p.m., all others closed

November 25 (Sunday): Resume regular hours
