You know Salman Rushdie is coming to campus, right? And you are beyond excited. And you want to read his works so that you can have amazingly intelligent conversations with him. And you will explain how Midnight’s Children is probably the best book of our time, in the top 10, really.

If that describes you, or if you are curious what the fuss is about, stop by Coe Library with a quickness to get your FREE copy of Midnight’s Children (amazing!), the Satanic Verses (controversial!), or Shalimar the Clown (nominated for the Booker Prize!). Free books and an audience with Sir Salman Rushdie, Best of the Booker and all around excellent author, what could be better?

Anyone else tempted to ask about Padma?

You people are fast! All copies of Shalimar the Clown and Midnight’s Children are gone, but we still have some copies of The Satanic Verses left.
