The kind folks in Interlibrary Loan are moving their office to its permanent location on Wednesday July 15th. They will be on the 2nd floor of the old Coe Library, in Room 237 (formerly the electronic classroom). Stop by and say hello to the staff and ask them any Request It questions you might have. You’ll probably also want to take a peek at the renovations on level 2!

ILLC Addition to Coe Library

Wondering how to get into Coe Library? The doors on 13th Street closed today and all entering and exiting will now be through the brand-spanking new doors!

You can find the new doors on the North side of the new Coe Library addition. You may access the entrance via the Union parking lot, via the sidewalk from 13th Street between the Union and Coe Library, or via the sidewalk from Ivinson Street that runs between the Business Building and Coe Library.

Questions? We’re happy to help and we look forward to seeing you in the new addition!

322562204_8fc3f353c6Tired at the library?  Construction crews are busy building sleeping bunks in the new Coe Library addition this week.  Special Projects Librarian David Kruger says “We noticed a lot of students sleeping on library chairs and we thought this was a need the library could address.”  The new bunks will be more comfortable than chairs, and offer a bit more quiet and privacy.

Not ready for a nap but in the mood for some studying comfort?  Starting today, students and faculty can check out Snuggies at the Coe Library Circulation desk using their WyoOne cards.

The Coe Library Reference collection (4000 feet of books!) moved on Tuesday from Level 2 Central to Level 3 Central, one floor above its prior location.  Soon the Coe Reference Index tables and atlas cases will make their way to the same location on Level 3.

Relocating the Reference collection is part of Coe Library’s construction and renovation project.  The new addition, Coe East, is set to open next month, but parts of Coe Central and Coe West still need to be cleared and renovated.  Ultimately, the Coe Reference collection will return to its previous location on Level 2 Central, once that area has been completely renovated.  Thanks for your patience while we move collections, and as always, if you can’t find something, ask us!
