Street Closure Update & Location of Bookdrop

13^th Street is open again! The storm sewer work has been completed on the west (Knight Hall) side of the street and you can now park in front of Coe.

Excavation for the storm sewer will continue on the northwest side of the library, essentially creating a gap between Memorial Union and Coe Library. To get to Coe Library from the Union, please follow around the orange construction fence – ramped access is available from 13^th street to the northwest side of the building.

The outside bookdrop and recycling bins have all been relocated across the storm sewer trench – you’ll find them on the east side of the Memorial Union cul-de-sac just off 13^th street.

Telecomm Infrastructure Installation

Installation of telecomm infrastructure for the new addition to Coe Library will begin on November 8 and continue for the next three weeks. The work will occur on floors 1-5 of the east half of Coe Library (1978 addition); most work will occur in the stack areas and a few within the reference department. We expect audible noise caused by the coring drill throughout this project.
