Beginning January 2, 2008, contractors will be working on the permanent sanitary sewer connection for the 1978 building. All restrooms at the east end of Coe Library (in the 1978 part of the building) are estimated to be out of service for about a week.
The restrooms in the 1957 part of Coe Library will continue to be available, and there are no scheduled water shutoffs during this period.

Beginning January 2, 2008, the 4th and 5th floors are scheduled to be closed for public access due to renovation being done on those floors. The east elevator on the first floor of Coe Library (in the 1978 addition of the building) will be closed for public use. The west elevator (to the right of the east elevator) will be available for public use to travel between the basement and 3rd floors only.
