There will be intermittent power outages in Coe Library from July 8th until July 15th to accommodate construction and renovation projects. Notice of power outages will be posted at the entrance to Coe Library on a daily basis as they occur. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Work has begun on the heating system in the Geology Library. This is a heads-up for those of you who retreat to that space when the construction-related aggravations in Coe get to be too hard to take. The Geology Library is not a quiet space this week (July 7-11). The work is scheduled to go on through the month of July, but the noisiest part is occurring now.
There is a new quiet study area set up in Coe on level 5 of the 1978 addition (east end of the building, formerly known as the 4th floor). Another possibility is the study space in the Library Annex.
