The West Entrance to Coe Library is officially closed. Please use the North Entrance facing the Wyoming Union. Access to the new entrance is through the alley between the Wyoming Union and the library or via the sidewalk between Coe Library and the College of Business.
The Book & Bean Cafe will be moving next week (April 6th) to the new addition. The cafe will be closed during this transition and Java drinkers will need to find alternative sources of coffee for about a week. The cafe is expected to reopen in the new location later this month and you won’t be disappointed about the new facility.
Also in the coming month several other major events will take place. Slated for relocation to the new addition are computer stations, some staff and faculty members, books, and of course furniture (lots of it). Timing of these transitions are still being determined. However we do know that on Monday, April 6th, some of the computers on level 1 will be moving. We are updating signs in Coe Library daily–so keep an eye out for construction updates and how they may impact you.
And the more visible event this month is the relocation of the entrance to Coe Library. The new entrance will face the Wyoming Union parking lot and will be accessible through the union alley.
