Project timeline: 2009
June 2009—November 2009:
Renovation of Coe Library’s levels 1 and 2 west.
November 19, 2009:
Grand Reopening Ceremony of William Robertson Coe Library scheduled 3-4 p.m.
Materials, furniture, and departments will be relocated throughout the project to accommodate the various phases of construction. These phases are subject to change and University Libraries will post additional information as information becomes available.
Significant Dates:
1958: Opening of the original W. R. Coe Library building.
1978: Completion of the first addition to W. R. Coe Library.
October 5, 2007: Groundbreaking of the current addition to W. R. Coe Library.
October 2009: Completion of the new addition to W. R. Coe Library
November 2009: Expected completion of the renovation of the original building of W. R. Coe Library (West).
