About the new William Robertson Coe Library:
- The new addition adds an additional 94,500 square feet to the existing William Robertson Coe Library for a total of 252,500 square feet.
- Twenty group study rooms.
- More than 120 individual computers for students.
- Seating accommodation for more than 1,600 students library-wide.
- Two library instruction classrooms. One is equipped with thirty computer terminals for hands-on training. The other classroom can accommodate twenty students and is wired for electronic access.
- Meeting commons to accommodate university conferences for up to 75 people.
- Over 125 office spaces for library staff and faculty members, and student employees.
- Improved space for collections and special collections housing the Grace Raymond Hebard Collection.
- The Book & Bean Cafe has expanded and is conveniently located near the entrance of the library.
- A rotunda skylight and full-panel glass entry provide natural light to the new addition.
- Designed to accommodate collection growth for twenty more years.
